I can't speak for any other applications, but if you collect Fidget Spinners like I do, this increases their longevity and make them work a whole lot better when they begin to slow down. I don't have the slightest clue as to how exactly this stuff works... But it does!
In summary, if you collect R188 Fidget Spinners, you should get this stuff as well. You won't be disappointed!
Two matters worth noting:
-If you get the valve oil on clothing or if some drips inside a case, it does not stain blue, it just looks oily.
-There is a safety cap on the bottles I received. In today's day and age, it is understandable that the maker would put a cap like this on a bottle of oil to prevent accidental ingestion, but it makes opening a chore; especially for an elementary aged kid or someone who is holding a trumpet in their other hand.
Overall, this was a great buy functionally and financially. Play on! I attached a picture for reference.
UPDATE 1/2020: After one and one half school years, this Blue Juice is still working well. Each of my boys has one in their trumpet case and each bottle has >90% left so a little goes a long way. The oil still works very well although there is one matter worth noting...my middle schooler's well intentioned music teacher assisted in oiling my son's valves prior to a concert and used another brand of valve oil to do so. The result a few weeks later was a not so smoothly operating set of valves from the mixture. I cannot say definitively if it was from the two brands mixing or if it was just a crummy oil that the teacher used, but since then I have cleaned and reoiled those valves with Blue Juice and all is well.

Amazon Product Review
I have been participating in concert band as a tuba player for over six years now. This period of time extends all the way back from elementary school to my current status as a college student. Over the course of these years, I have come into contact with different tubas of varying states. To anyone with knowledge or experience of brass instruments, it is no surprise that the state of an instrument directly affects the player’s performance during rehearsal. Player skill does mitigate or rather enhance the performance potential of an instrument, but a non-working integral part of an instrument will hinder any player’s performance despite their skill.
At the start of the semester, I was given a rental tuba that has seen some use. As a whole, the current condition of the instrument was less than desirable. The valves were sticky and the tuning slides would hardly move a centimeter. Simply playing a scale proved to be difficult with the tuba’s sticky valve buttons. The instrument’s tuning slides and valves were in dire need of valve oil. Tired with my struggling attempts to play on the tuba, I purchased and ordered a small bottle of valve oil (or Blue Juice as the company calls it) through Amazon last week. The order confirmation predicted a delivery time of one week. I was surprised to receive the bottle a few days earlier than projected by the web services. To my relief, there were no marks or damage on the bottle of valve oil. After applying a couple drops to my concert band instrument, I was met with immediate results. The once sticky valves on my instrument began to move like brand new and the tuning slides would slide with little to no effort.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The product completely met my expectations and fulfilled all my services. I am now able to perform on my instrument without a hitch. For anyone on the fence on purchasing this item, I fully recommend taking upon the commitment for this product.
