i suggest buying products to help with the productivity of the product. i purchased the following products so i could work as effectively as possible.

Cam Caddie Shoe Accessory w/ Adjustable CNC: i took off the grip at the bottom of the pole (temporarily) so i could slide this around the pole to hold my audio device so i would have to put it in my pocket.

Movo SMM5-V2 Dual-Suspension Mount for Digital: purchased to hold my digital recording device. it attaches to the Cam Caddie Shoe Accessory w/ Adjustable CNC

Rode VC1 10' (3.5mm) Stereo Mini Jack Extension: attached to the mic so the pole can fully extend.

Rode BPCLIPS Boompole Cable Clips, Pack of 5: used to clip the lose wiring to the pole to reduce noise.
