Product Description

FretWraps is a pro string dampener/muter that helps gets rid of noise and overtones from string vibrations and harmonics, instantly cleaning up the sound of the notes being played. Great for two-handed tapping, slapping, and other techniques where you may not always be able to mute with your hands, but also for cleaner takes at the studio or live. The adjustable strap lets you fine-tune the pressure and dampening of the strings. Quickly slides over the headstock when not in use, and features all soft materials that won’t damage your instrument. No special guitar modification, installation, or tools required - Yet amazingly effective. Used by top players including Guthrie Gavan, Andy James, Nick Johnston, Andrew Gouache, Anthony Wellington, Norm Stockton, Bubby Lewis and more.

Great at string buzz and vibration absorption
I play in Drop A and use 12-64 guage strings.Without being plugged in, you are not going to notice a difference. Once you are plugged in though, especially in lower tunings you can get this slight, annoying hum or buzz from your strings. Which may be mistaken for your signal chain buzz.I have a noise gate in my chain which cuts out most buzz. But when playing I would still hear the buzz. So I placed some foam under my strings by the bridge and bought this handy guy for the neck. Worth every penny. THIS IS NOT A CAPO lolPros:This thing did wonders for the slight noise of my strings. Definitely makes me feel a little more professional to hear a cleaner, richer sound. Even with all my effects in my signal chain lolThe color matches the body a bit. Figured I'd stick with a theme.Cons:honeslty, I don't think I have any. It doesn't effect my tuning or knock my strings out of tune. It doesn't make playing any harder. It doesn't really make the guitar look any worse in my opinion.Maybe price to some people? But to me it was well worth every penny I spent on it.
