The foam inserts have cuts both vertically and horizontally every 1/2 inch of so, so it's easy to shape the foam to fit a mic, I also had no problem also carving out a space for my pop-filter. I am using a XML V57M mic which is 50mm in diameter. So nice to have my fancy mic in an actual case rather than the cardboard box it came in. I feel like it's actually protected now.

So it’s a good little case for the money, it’s hard shell plastic so I doubt it would survive getting like run over by a vehicle but it’ll keep whatever’s inside pretty safe generally speaking. I like that the cube foam makes fitting the case for your gear pretty quick and painless but in order to really get that snug fit pelican style case I resorted to hot gluing the foam layers down, otherwise I would have to pull out the foam and separate it from the mic every time.
Tl;dr : it’s pretty good, don’t throw it off a building and maybe whip out some hot glue for the foam
