Le Verseau. Par ANCELIN PIERRE. French composer, Pierre Ancelin (1934-2001) studied at the conservatories of Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, and later, under Olivier Messiaen at the Paris Conservatoire. Ancelin is particularly remembered for founding the National Union of Composers of Music, along with Jolivet, Lesuer and Sauguet.
