Very happy I purchased this.
These haven't been changed in years, nor do they have to be.
Economical and effective. Easy to use.
I'm going to give you free engineering help Mr. Dunlop.
I went to my basement and found a bolt with a head that would just fit in the winder. I drilled out the broken piece from the handle with a hand drill. Added a dab of glue (I had the red one handy but the blue stuff would be fine too). Last, I tightened it just enough so I could still twirl the winder with one hand. Took me ten minutes.
Hope this helps. I'll report out as I continue to use the upgraded version with metal instead of plastic for the insert.
UPDATE: Used it four times this week (8/13/2020) while adjusting the action on a guitar. No issues at all and it is working fine. The screw held up fine and it never backed out.
