It's still a great pedal to have to your collection and it'll clean up your guitar sound well! i recommend this to any guitarist that needs an nice, affordable, small pedal! Not a bad deal
Accuracy is spot-on in accordance with my Korg tuner (Y-splitter with the two side-by-side), the Donner matches approximately 1 cent accuracy - this is more than sufficient for ANY gigging or recording that I ever plan to do.
The bottom of the pedal includes nice rubber pads that keep the pedal in place on hard surfaces, yet they're thin enough that Velcro/hook-and-loop will protrude enough to mount to a board with Velcro without having to remove the rubber feet - while this seems like a minor thing, IMO this is huge and I wish more pedal manufacturers did this.
The case is super tough (metal) and the surface has a nice matte finish which reduces reflection and glare from bright lighting - again this seems like a minor feature but it makes a big difference in the real world and it goes to show that Donner has thought through EVERY detail of this pedal. And I have found that what is apparent on the outside is consistent with the attention to detail given to the inside.
Of course as with most pedals it does not come with a DC power supply but if you're reading pedal reviews you probably already know this :) and you probably also have a variety of workarounds. I prefer a battery clip snap connector anyway (search "Mr. Power 9V Battery Clip Converter 2.1mm 5.5mm" - they're $3ea) or just chaining another connector on my board's DC power supply, no biggie. I don't understand why some people complain about this - powering a pedal isn't complicated or expensive. In fact, I appreciate pedal manufacturers keeping prices low while allowing ME to decide how to power the thing anyway.
The ONLY potential downside is the brightness of the LED, particularly the red, it's borderline blinding (the pics don't begin to illustrate it :)) The LCD display is awesome, lots of useful indicators in there that help bring you to tune quickly but in low light conditions the red LED is overpowering; in low lighting I can't even read the display until the green LED kicks in - at which time I don't need to see the LCD display screen. I may dim it with some tape to take the bright edge off - and of course mine may be an exception but I thought I'd share just the same.
Overall this is a minor issue and doesn't take away from the awesomeness of this pedal. IMO it's worth every dime, it's WAY better built than its competitors in the price range and it performs at least as good as (if not notably better than) other tuners I have that cost 2x as much or more.
It's hard to imagine regretting this purchase, I plan to get one for each amp even though I don't have pedal boards for each amp. At this price I think everyone should have one sitting on/near every amp.

Sound:
Look I am not expecting to get a strymon big sky sound for 45.00 however I figured after reading the reviews this thing would be pretty damn good. I am going to put it in the category of , it is exactly what it is.. a 45.00 reverb pedal. It does nothing outstanding, but it doesn't completely suck. The spring does not sound that great(basically no rattle to it at all), the plate could really use a better algorithm. Church could use a much deeper sound. Mod does basically nothing. It's not all just "meh" though. The "studio" preset is actually my favorite. I think it sounds the best. NOW MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT on the pedal is that it has very weak max decay time. I am talking real short. You put it on church and max it out I am expecting some really long decays.....NOPE.... This is probably not a big to some of you, but for my needs it is.
Construction:
The thing feels built well, but hold any metal box this size in your hand and tell me that it doesn't. We confuse a small sturdy box with being well built. That being said it does seem fine. The knobs feel tight and not wobbly. LED is bright maybe too bright, but whatever. OH one thing I think they could change is the "click" strength of the pedal switch itself. Like if you do it with your fingers you have to give it a pretty good push to get it activated. This is a 1st world problem though so whatever. IT's sturdy. The form factor is obviously small which is great.
Value:
See this is the tough call. At 45.00 it's basically worth about that. It's not like one of those steals like the berhinger echo machine you could get for 30.00 and you got 100's of dollars in value, or like their vintage phase. This pedal is basically on par which the type of reverbs that are built in to some mixers. Even less powerful than some of those. So it's tough. It feels good in hand (as any metal box this size should), and not crazy expensive, but it's not berhinger cheap either. Its just that.
So in conclusion, its exactly what it claims to be. a 45.00 sounding reverb that feels really sturdy. No ground breaking reverbs or value. There's about 12 other reverbs in this same price range that sound probably just the same. That the issue. It's a saturated market making the decision hard with no clear winner.
I like donner as a company so far.. I have another pedal from them that works great and sounds pretty damn good.
—————————-
Out of the box it is a great addition to my pedals. Slim, bright, easy to read. It silences the guitar output when tuning which is why I got it. 6 weeks later, when I tune the guitar, it does not silence the output, so the crowd can hear you tuning. Now I have to turn guitar volumes down, tune the guitar, then turn them back up. Sad
