Keyboard Kids Complete Piano Method by Carolyn Carson includes all three books in the series. The Workbook, "Color, Notes and Rhythms", is designed to work simultaneously with Books 1 and 2 to reinforce what is being learned, containing fun and stimulating activities that assure the students interest is maintained throughout each lesson. The Workbook is a vital component to this course and should always be used in conjunction with Books 1 and 2. Book 1 provides an ample reading experience in five-finger positions in multiple keys. Strategically placed examples reinforce preceding topics as well as reiterate major points. Book 2 summarizes Book 1 by teaching simple songs that reflect the student's daily activities which promotes and solidifies their recently acquired skills.
