In Greek mythology, the Phoenix is the son of the sun. He symbolizes immortality, renewal and life after death.Spanish composer Teo Aparicio Barberan created an epic musical journey that starts with Lacerated Heart, The Man I Want to Be, and ends with New Times. The Phoenix also represents the present and future of one of the oldest orchestras in Valencia, Spain, Banda de Musica de Enguera. Barberan dedicates The Rise of the Phoenix to his wife, Sara.

De feniks. Het is een vogel die in de Griekse mythologie de god van de zon symboliseert. Ook staat hij voor onsterfelijkheid, opstanding en het leven na de dood. De Spaande componist Teo Aparicio Barberan componeerde dit epos in driedelen: Lacerated Heart, The Man I want to be en New Times. Op muzikale wijze omschrijft hij het verleden, het heden en de toekomst van een van de oudste bands van Valencia, de 'Banda de Musica de Enguera'. Hij draagt dit werkop aan zijn echtgenote Sara.

Der spanische Komponist Teo Aparicio Barberan komponierte dieses musikalische Epos, das aus den drei Teilen Lacerated Heart, The Man I Want to Be und New Times besteht und Gegenwart und Zukunft eines der altesten Blasorchester der Stadt Valencia beschreibt, die Banda de Musica de Enguera. Die Widmung gilt Sara, der Frau des Komponisten.
