6-part Trombone Ensemble & Organ - moderately advanced
SKU: CY.CC2776
Composed by Jean Sibelius. Arranged by Evan Becker. Finnish Nationalist. Score/Organ and parts. Published by Cherry Classics (CY.CC2776).Karelia Suite, Opus 11 is a concert suite taken from an 11-movement work that Sibelius composed using Finnish folk music. The two selections in this arrangement are the Intermezzo and Alla Marcia and have a "naive" peasant feel to them with their simplicity. Karelia was one of the composer's favorite parts of Finland.
Intermezzo is a bouncy march in Allegro as is the Alla Marcia which has a few key change surprises, adding a real kick to the movement.
All parts are in bass clef and the parts are appropriate for moderately advanced performers. This arrangement is about 9 minutes in length.
